Fourth Week of Advent

Week 4 is the last week of Advent and it is a celebration of LOVE. We light the final purple candle along with the first two purple candles and the pink joy candle. As we prepare for the coming of the Lord, we need to ask ourselves if our hearts are a fitting place for the Christ child to rest his head. This week, we reflect on our Advent journey and whether we have made spiritual preparations for Christmas in addition to decorating, shopping, wrapping and baking preparations. The glowing light of all four candles reminds us of the light of Christ. We hope that every family has a blessed Christmas and makes many memories with family and friends as we move into a new year.
