In Honour of Truth and Reconciliation

This week, September 26-30, all of our schools and our Central Office will be making special efforts to acknowledge the histories and legacies of residential schools and to honour the survivors, their families and communities. Our goal is to honour and understand the shared responsibility of integrating foundational knowledge of Indigenous' peoples' perspectives, and to embrace and support Indigenous students' success. Ken Galliot spent part of his day on September 27 with the Board of Trustees sharing his knowledge by facilitating a smudge.
