Living Waters Catholic Schools…. Living the Five Marks of a Catholic School
The Board of Living Waters Catholic Separate Catholic Schools, and Divisional Staff unpacked the Five Marks of a Catholic School and created the “Living Waters Five Marks of a Catholic School” document to enhance and articulate what living the Five Marks of a Catholic School means in Living Waters. The document was drafted and approved in June of 2019 and is shared annually with staff, students and families.
In addition to the “Living Waters Five Marks of a Catholic School” the Religious Education Division Team have also created a companion website that will identify ways to bring the Marks to life in a school setting. We hope this work will help all to gain a deeper understanding of what makes us special and unique and we will be able to anchor our work to what is foundational to what it means to be a Catholic School. This focus and work will add to our goal to ensure that every child who enters our doors will graduate from a safe and caring, faith-filled environment prepared for future success, so that they can create a better tomorrow by knowing themselves, God, and the world around them.
