Inspiring Education Community Workshops -Update #1

Inspiring Education Public Conversations were held across the Division in the communities of Slave Lake, Whitecourt and Edson. Parents, teachers and other representatives from each community were present and shared their ideas and understandings with respect to the future direction of education. Topics of conversation were related to meeting the needs of students in a diverse society, teaching methods, quality of teaching and school funding. The dialogue was rich, focused and purposeful and will be reviewed by the Living Waters Trustees, Central Office staff and school based staff. A full report and update on our public conversations will be shared and posted in the near future. Stay tuned.
